Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha!! Eid Mubarak lovely people! Alhamdulillah what a fantastic day today! Mashaallah! Went to Salatul Eid at the Colorado Springs Event Center in the morning, caught up with friends and ate big potluck breakfast!, fetched Salihin at Air Force Academy and went to Kak Za's new home at Thornton, CO for mandatory open house raya with Geng Colorado (whatta blast!), sent Salihin back to Academy and he specifically told me that I must observe the speed limit within the place and guess what?? I got carried away looking at those jets and didn't realize my speed limit, got pulled over by the officer - took out my id n all and he asked for the insurance which I left it at home but had it on the phone..as I was scrolling for the card, something must have happened and he quickly went off saying drive slowly next time please. Phewh. Though I missed Valentino's softball game, (managed to catch them a bit and had a good chat with Chris and Asma - THEY ARE LEAVING COS SOOOOON!!! UWAAAA) I went straight to our Daughters of Abraham's bookclub session and dropped by to say hi and got the chance to explain about the Eid Al Adha celebration! #alhamdulillah Glad we got all covered today!
